At the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2022 in his 88th year, Joseph Hibbert, beloved husband of June Hibbert. Loving father of Gail (Clement) Spencer, Norman (Tina) Hibbert, David (Katherine) Hibbert. Predeceased by his brothers James and Robert Hibbert. Much loved grandfather of Brianne (Dun), Caitlyn (Chris), Robert, Mia, Audrey, Scarlett, Madeleine and great-grandfather of Layla, Owen, Henry and Porter. Joseph was a member of the Masonic Lodge, St. George and a member of St. George United Church. Joseph had previously worked for several years with the Boy Scouts of Canada as a field commissioner in Northern Ontario. He was a retired professor of Social Work at Mohawk College, where he worked for over 20 years. A private family memorial service will be held at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Friday, February 18, 2022. Covid restrictions require those attending to wear a facial mask and practice social distancing. Cremation has taken place. If wished, memorial donations to the St. George United Church or Shriner’s Hospital gratefully appreciated.
