Obituary of Stacey Lynn Prince

Prince, Stacey Lynn

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Stacey, at the age of 42, after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2022 with her sister by her side. Stacey was the beloved daughter of Marylee Schmidt (Steven Cole) and loving sister of Nicholas Cole and Kandace Cole. Stacey was adored by her father, the late Kelly Prince (Nov 2021) and will be forever loved by her step-mom, Debbie Prince. She will be treasured always by her sisters Tara Capinding (Eddie) and Hailey Prince. She was the proud aunt of Jada and Chase Capinding. Cherished granddaughter to the late Sid & Evelyn Prince (2012), Grandma Bun (2011) and will hold a special place in the heart of her nana, Gail Davis (Papa, Cal – 1996). Stacey will be missed deeply by her beloved aunts, uncles and many cousins. Stacey was the best dog mom to her fur-baby Ben and their bond was beautiful. Stacey was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her and to know her was a gift. Her friends were like family and her circle was strong. She valued her friendships and the time she spent with the people she loved. Stacey was passionate, both personally and professionally. She was the proud Co-owner and Stylist of Shear Bliss Hair Studio, where she worked along side Krystyna for the last 5 years, making her dreams come true, doing what she loved. Stacey was a confident stylist who will be fondly remembered by all of her clients and colleagues in the industry. Stacey was committed to her health and fitness goals, her strength was absolutely inspiring and she made it look easy. Stacey will be remembered with love by her Crossfit Durst family and the fitness community. She had a love for travel and the outdoors, including many paddleboard adventures with Ben. Stacey was humble, full of grace and had such a kind heart, she made this world brighter and for that, our hearts are broken from this devastating loss. She will always be loved, forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, princess! Cremation has taken place.
