Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, Brantford on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in her 95th year, Erma Crossman, beloved wife of the late James Crossman. Loving mother of Ken (Bev) Crossman, Connie (John) Benson, Tim (Janice) Crossman, Linda (Randy) Moyer, and Sheree Crossman (Dave Thompson). Predeceased by daughters Debby Crossman (1958) and Kathy Agnew (2014), grandson John Paul Benson (2018), great granddaughter Alivia O’Brien, brothers Arthur, Kenneth, Clifford, Donald, and sister Olive. Much loved grandmother of James, Alison, Michael, Paige, Morgan, Jennifer, Jim, Jackie, Stephanie, Brad, Michelle, Connie, Steven, and great-grandmother of 20 with more on the way. Erma will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Erma’s passions included participating in, and watching, sports, gardening, babies, and dogs. She was known for her gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humour. A private family visitation will be held at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Covid restrictions require those attending to wear masks and practise social distancing. A private family interment will be held at Farringdon Burial Ground, Brantford. Due to Covid, a celebration of Erma’s life will be held later. If wished, memorial donations to Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto gratefully appreciated.
