Obituary of Lillian Mae Mannen
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces her peaceful passing at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in her 91st year. Lillian Mannen, loving wife of the late Ross Mannen (2004). Daughter of the late Ellen and Stanley Thompson. Loved mother of Doug (Lyne), Ken (Leanne), Rick (Josie) and Robert (Roxanne). Beloved grandma of Shelley (Frank) Resendes. Great-grandma of Madison, Spencer and Avery. Lillian is survived by her brother Clayton (the late Arlene) Thompson and predeceased by her brother, Donald Thompson (Cathy), sisters Doreen Cosby, Margaret (Leonard) Welch. Survived by sisters-in-law Norma (the late Ron) Abbott, Faye (the late Ralph) Mannen, Betty (the late Russell) Mannen. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Raymond (Marilyn) Mannen and infant Floyd Mannen. Lillian will be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Lillian was a member of Harmony Church for many years. Special thanks to the ER staff at the Brantford General Hospital and Amber Lea for their constant care for Mother during her stay. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. (Covid restrictions require that those invited must show double vaccination and wear masks).
