Whitbread, Raymond Christopher "Chris"

Peacefully at his home on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 62 years, Chris Whitbread, beloved husband of Shirley Whitbread. Loving father of Lucille Whitbread (fiancé Brandon) and Jeffrey Whitbread.  Dear brother of Jeff (Robin) Whitbread, Heather Nixon (Nigel). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Heidi, Brock, Katie, AJ, Sarah, Marc and Spencer. Chris was a hockey coach for the Waterford Minor Hockey Association and also a coach for OAA in Oakland. Dedicated Scouter for 1st Waterford Scouts. Amateur astronomer and life long "Leaf Fan".

Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date. Covid protocol will require that masks be worn and that social distancing is observed. Cremation has taken place.  If wished, memorial donations to the Who Did It Club, Simcoe 519-428-0271 gratefully appreciated.
