Obituary of Remi Baillargeon
Baillargeon, Remi Joseph
Remi passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Paris, ON on February 7, 2021 at the age of 80. He was forever devoted to his wife, Gabrielle (Garant) and was a wonderful, loving father to his children, Kim and Brett, Karen and Joe, and Claudine and Les. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Amanda, Philip, Andrew, Nicole and Sarah. Born in St. Magloire Co De Bellechasse, QC, he moved at a young age to Cambridge, ON, where he stayed to raise his family and run his business with his brothers. With numerous family members and friends in both Ontario and Quebec, he was very much loved. Remi was one of those treasures placed on this earth for no other reason than to touch other's lives in a positive way. A selfless individual who was involved in so many community and people projects, there just isn't enough space to list all his deeds and accomplishments. His life was a life that really counted.
How do you sum up a life like this ? He was a wonderful person, a great husband and lived his life for his children and grandchildren. He was all that and much, much more. And yet, he'd never think of blowing his own horn. Once in a lifetime, you are lucky to have the oppurtunity to live in his dreams. Once in a lifetime, people are touched by someone like Remi. I was his loving wife Gabrielle As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Ontario Herat and Stroke Foundation.
