Obituary of Michael David Ross Misener

MISENER – Michael David Ross Passed away suddenly, at home in Brantford, on Thursday May 14, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Much loved son of the late A. Ross Misener and Edith “Bunts” Foster Slemin. Beloved brother of Wendy (Michael Moran), and John Misener. Very proud uncle of Colin Moran and loved nephew of the late Marjorie Bird. He will be fondly remembered by his aunt Mollie Forde and by cousins, Hope (Guy) Jaglowitz and Anne Woodyatt (John) Lowson and their families. Early in his career Mike worked as a teacher, and latterly he channelled his penchant to help others through volunteering. He was active in the community, as a regular volunteer at Greenbrier Presbyterian Church, the Red Cross “Meals on Wheels” and with Participation House. He was a friend to all he met and thoroughly enjoyed the company of his friends and family. He had conquered most of the challenges life had given him and was revelling in his new found happiness. We are so sorry that he left us so soon. Due to the covid 19 pandemic cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a future date at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford. Details to follow. Donations may be made in memory of Michael to Greenbrier Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Mental Health Association. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca
