Dear family and friends of Bruce:
I am deeply saddened by the news of Bruce's passing. I worked with Bruce at the Ministry of Children and Families in BC for a number of years. He and I bonded over our mutual love of gardening and the sharing of bad jokes (which to us were very funny). He was a good friend and colleague and I admired his commitment and passion for issues near and dear to his heart.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I worked for him on the Feathers of Hope project and found him to be a compassionate and supportive leader. I will miss him as a friend and mentor.
I first met Bruce in 1979 when he edited what became a Canadian best seller. We have been good friends and fellow motorcyclists since. He was "sensitive" then and has remained one of the best people I have ever known. He will continue to be in our hearts. Love, Kerry and Teresa.
